Welcoming Speech Pathologist Shae J to Our Darwin Team

Pacific Health & Wellbeing is pleased to announce the appointment of Shae J, a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist, to our Darwin office. With a strong background in early intervention and remote outreach, Shae brings with her a wealth of knowledge, compassion and a deep commitment to helping participants achieve their communication goals.

Originally from Narromine in regional New South Wales, Shae graduated with Honours in Speech Pathology from the University of Newcastle. Her career path was inspired by personal experience, seeing the life-changing impact that Allied Health and Early Intervention services had on a loved one motivated her to pursue a career where she could create similar positive change for others.

Shae has spent the past four years working in the NDIS space, primarily supporting children from early childhood through to pre-adolescence. Her previous role with a not-for-profit organisation allowed her to deliver early intervention supports across rural and remote areas of NSW, building valuable skills in outreach and family-centred care. She has a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is particularly passionate about supporting paediatric participants to find their voice.

When she’s not working, Shae enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring local markets, going on weekend trips, swimming at the beach, travelling and curling up with a good book. Now based in Darwin, she’s excited about the opportunity to deliver outreach services and work alongside a dedicated, participant-focused team.
