Megan W

Allied Health Assistant Brisbane

Megan is originally from chilly England, but moved to Australia at a young age and has spent her entire life enjoying the sunshine and perfect beach days. She began her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Sunshine Coast University due to her love of the beach and then transferred to Australian Catholic University two years later, where she is set to graduate in 2027. Megan is a motivated, new Allied Health Assistant at Pacific Health and Wellbeing, bringing optimism and compassion to her team and clients in their everyday lives. She is passionate about enhancing and developing new clinical skills as she grows in the healthcare industry.

During her studies and placements, Megan has gained valuable experience, building skills in person-centred care, communication, and therapeutic engagement. She enjoys working alongside experienced allied health workers and is eager to continue learning from her team to deliver meaningful support to participants. Megan has always been driven by a passion for helping others, but her well-known aversion to blood quickly ruled out a career in surgery. She brings a warm and collaborative approach to her work and values the connections she forms with clients and families.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys staying active, exploring new locations, whether it may be hiking or booking an Airbnb, but she has to have her morning coffee! She also loves to cook and experiment with new recipes, continually looking for something delicious to share with friends and family.
