Georgia is a passionate and highly experienced Speech Pathologist with over four years of clinical experience across diverse settings and populations. She began her career working with an NGO, supporting children and adults with a range of disabilities under the NDIS to achieve their communication and mealtime goals. Since then, she has broadened her expertise through acute hospital work in Darwin, where she supported adults recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and head and neck cancer treatments.
Most recently, Georgia has been working across regional and remote areas of South Australia, delivering speech pathology services to hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and aged care facilities. Her work spans both paediatric and adult caseloads, and she is committed to accessible, high-quality care for all.
Georgia has undertaken additional training in advanced areas of speech pathology including video fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS), laryngectomy/tracheostomy management, dysphagia, paediatric feeding, and dementia care. She has a strong clinical interest in supporting individuals with swallowing disorders, voice conditions, neurodegenerative diseases, and early language and speech sound development in children. She is particularly passionate about improving mealtime experiences for people with disabilities and dementia—because, as she says, food is one of life’s greatest joys.
Outside of her professional work, Georgia is also a qualified Pilates instructor and enjoys teaching and practicing in her spare time. She loves cooking for family and friends, camping, swimming, exploring the outdoors, attending live music gigs, and spending time with her beloved Border Collie, Bobby.
