Occupational Therapist Gold Coast
Emma is a new graduate Occupational Therapist who completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at Griffith University. She is passionate about supporting people to build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

Emma takes a warm, bubbly, and engaging approach to therapy, grounded in strengths-based and client-centred practice. She values working collaboratively with individuals, families, and support networks to create therapy that feels empowering, practical, and enjoyable. Emma is committed to tailoring intervention to each person’s unique strengths, goals, and environments, while fostering positive therapeutic relationships where clients feel understood and supported.

Prior to graduating, Emma worked as a teacher aide in a high school inclusion department and as a disability support worker, supporting children and adults to develop independence and confidence in their daily lives. These experiences strengthened her passion for inclusive, collaborative care and reinforced the importance of meeting clients where they are.

Outside of work, Emma is a passionate reader who loves spending time in nature, whether at the beach, exploring waterfalls, or enjoying a sunset. She also enjoys watching AFL (Go Saints!!), pilates, arts and crafts, live music, travel, and a good card or board game, bringing creativity and positive energy into everything she does.
